Event Details

Men from across the Midlands will be standing up against sexual assault and abuse, one pair of heels at a time, on Thursday, April 18, 2013. Hosted by Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands and presented by Palmetto Health, the 4th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes begins at 6 p.m. outside the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in the Vista.

Register today for $20 ($30 at the Walk). Men, women, and children of all ages are invited to participate, individually or in teams. The event is FREE for children 12 and under.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes encourages men to get involved in the fight against sexual violence. The event also raises awareness about the free, local services STSM offers to survivors and their families and friends. It is one of several events STSM holds in April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).
